"They are excellent boots for daily hard wear. The leather is a little soft, so the uppers wear out in a year or two - or at least don't hold their original good-looking appearance - but they break in quickly and are comfortable and durable. I did like my earlier version a little more, with its lighter leather color and leather stacked heel, but the newer full synthetic heel is fine.
